Your Agreement with Direct Bookings Italy
By accessing and using Direct Bookings Italy, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this service. We reserve the right to update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes your acceptance.
What This Service Provides
Direct Bookings Italy is a search and referral platform for Italian accommodation properties. We:
- Provide a searchable directory of hotels, B&Bs, vacation rentals and other accommodation across Italy
- Verify property registration numbers (CIN) where available
- Facilitate quote requests from property owners
- Redirect users to property owner contact details and websites
We do not operate a booking or payment system. You do not pay us directly for accommodation. Property owners contact you based on the information you voluntarily provide through our quote request form.
What We Do Not Do
Direct Bookings Italy does not:
- Process or hold payments
- Manage reservations or cancellations
- Provide customer support on behalf of property owners
- Guarantee property availability or accuracy of owner information
- Act as a booking agency or intermediary
Arrangements between users and property owners are made directly. We are not party to these agreements.
User Conduct
When using our platform, you agree not to:
- Provide false or misleading information in search queries or quote requests
- Use automated tools to scrape or extract property data
- Engage in fraudulent communication with property owners
- Violate applicable laws or regulations
- Harass or defame property owners
Violations may result in suspension or removal from our platform.
Liability Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Direct Bookings Italy is provided on an "as is" basis. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for:
- Accuracy of property information or CIN verification status
- Disputes between users and property owners
- Service interruptions or data loss
- Indirect or consequential damages from using our platform
You use this service at your own risk and assume responsibility for verifying property details before committing to any agreement.
Property Information
Property data is sourced from public registries and owner submissions. While we attempt to verify CIN numbers, we do not guarantee data completeness or currency. You are responsible for independently verifying property details, location, amenities and any other factors important to your decision.
Quote Requests
When you submit a quote request, you authorise us to share your name, email and phone number with the property owner. The owner may contact you directly. You are responsible for all communication and agreements with property owners.
We do not mediate disputes or refund requests. These are handled directly between you and the owner.
Intellectual Property
All content on this site, including text, graphics, logos, images and software, is the property of Direct Bookings Italy or our content providers. You may not reproduce, distribute or transmit any content without permission.
Third-Party Links
We provide links to property websites and external resources. We do not endorse or assume responsibility for these external sites. Use them at your own risk and review their terms and privacy policies.
Limitation of Liability
Direct Bookings Italy's total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for services, or if you paid nothing, then fifty euros. This applies to all claims, losses or damages, including personal injury.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Direct Bookings Italy harmless from any claims, damages or costs arising from your use of this service, violation of these terms, or disputes with property owners.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to this service at any time for violations of these terms or other conduct we deem inappropriate. Termination is effective immediately.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any legal action must be brought in Italian courts.
